Corporate organization and succession planning with holdings

- Industry
- Construction, real estate development and agribusiness
The diagnosis
A family group led by its founder, with two children in the business, working in construction, development, land subdivision through SPEs and farming held personally. Income-producing properties were scattered inside the operating companies, exposed to the risks of the operation itself.
The strategy
We gave the family the time it needed for succession to mature. Once everyone was aligned, properties not meant for sale were centralized in a Family Asset Holding, separating rural and urban assets from corporate risk. Participation Holdings split the businesses into independent fronts: outside partners, land subdivisions, risk ventures and agribusiness assets. The structure closed with the start of lifetime gifts of shares to the heirs.
The result
Less personal exposure, more efficient cash flow and lifetime succession already under way, on a governance base with monthly technical follow-up meetings.
What it secured
- Risk mitigation
- Formal, legal succession planning
- Governance and decision support
- Consolidated asset protection
